**OVERVIEW: **The DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER is the digital campaign lead across their assigned artist roster, leading all facets of digital marketing for each project including but not limited to the creation and execution of digital marketing plans, content-first social strategy, pre-release and release planning, audience development, fan engagement/fan pages, influencer campaigns, varied digital advertising, and more.
**ARTIST-FACING: **Lead artist-facing communication (social positing plans), high-level ideation, and the development of creative narratives that drive digital impact.
**DIGITAL EXECUTION: **Executes the digital/social plans created in partnership with management, Head of Marketing, Senior DPM, and creative team. Manages content scheduling, platform upkeep, fan engagement, analytics pulls, and day-to-day digital tasks that keep campaigns running smoothly. Handle content scheduling across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts in accordance with the team’s digital plans (as needed). Publish pre-saves, announcements, promo assets. Coordinate and attend content shoots.
**VIRAL STRATEGIST: **Finger on the pulse in trend spotting. Track artists’ socials and report on posting insights/highlights, trends, and audience behavior to the digital department.
**INFLUENCER MARKETING: **Execute viral, UGC-driven, platform-native campaigns to drive discovery and growth. Identify viral and cultural opportunities across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, X, etc to build trends.
**FAN-PAGE MARKETING: Duplicate marketing tactics across supporting fan page accounts to expand on artist’s reach. Identify high-potential fan content and creators. **Monitor emerging platform behaviors, memes, audio trends, and creator activity for artists to tap into.
**DIGITAL PARTNERS: **Create relationships with digital press partners (Country Central, Country Credits, Raised Rowdy, etc) to tap our artists into.
**PAID CAMPAIGNS: **Work with respective label partners to create paid ad (Meta, YouTube) campaigns with a focus on emerging platforms, viral tactics, and evolving discovery behaviors.
**1 to 1 FAN COMMUNICATION: **SMS & Mailing List management across all artists platforms (Community, Laylo, Mailing Lists (ie. Mailchimp), Discord, WhatsApp, IG Broadcast, etc)
COLLABORATIVE: Work with marketing, A&R, sales, PR, and management to ensure cohesive storytelling.
**DATA-DRIVEN: **This role requires both analytical rigor and cultural awareness—someone who can connect the numbers to what’s actually happening in music, fan engagement, and digital platforms.
