Role Overview
We’re looking for a **Digital Marketing Manager **– a label marketing rep inside Rebel. This person owns day-to-day digital artist campaigns for distribution clients: turning performance data into weekly moves, building campaign plans with assets and deadlines, driving follow-through across artists, internal team, and platform partners, and building repeatable DSP pitch materials.
This person owns day-to-day artist campaigns for Rebel's distribution clients:
• Turn performance data into clear weekly moves
• Build campaign plans + timelines (assets, milestones, deadlines)
• Drive follow-through across artists/management, internal team, and platform partners
• Build repeatable DSP pitch materials
This is designed as a junior-to-mid role — we're open to someone we can train and grow as our roster and needs do

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
• Every active release has a campaign plan and timeline with owners and deadlines
• Weekly updates go out consistently to artists, management, and the internal team – with clear next steps
• DSP pitch materials are standardized and reused across releases

Core Responsibilities
Daily performance monitoring → insights
• Monitor streaming + social performance
• Translate trends into weekly priorities (what to double down on, what to change, what to test)
• Flag key findings + recommended moves to the team

Campaign planning, coordination + execution (singles + albums)
• Own campaigns from planning through post-release
• Build and maintain timelines (milestones, assets, deadlines)

Asset management
• Collect and organize all necessary campaign assets and metadata to ensure easy access for team members and partners
• Coordinate + execute to keep deliverables moving (internal and external)
• Coordinate + execute release updates (artwork, metadata changes, deliverable swaps) and route to the right owner to execute quickly

Budget & Vendor Coordination
• Manage campaign budgets and vendor activations (radio, creator, partner).
• Track spend, deliverables, payment needs, and outcomes so the team can see what was spent, what happened, and what we learned

DSP marketplace + pitching
• Build and maintain DSP pitch materials using Rebel templates
• Package story, momentum, and audience signals into partner-ready updates
• Pitch submissions + track outreach, responses, and next steps
• Track partner conversations, platform asks, marketplace opportunities, and follow-ups across DSPs, partners, TikTok and data tools, and other distribution growth channels
Targets → results → learnings
• For each activation, set a loose target, track results, and document what we learned so we get better every release

Communication + project management
• Own communication across artists/management, internal team, and partners
• Provide clear updates and next steps
• Keep information organized so everyone can read one place and understand what’s happening
Bonus strengths
• Short-form + digital culture fluency (what actually moves a record right now)
• Niche-community / internet-culture instincts (how to translate subculture into smart moves)
• Creative instincts (features, collaborators, and angles that support the campaign)
• A&R curiosity (spotting creative angles, potential collaborators, fanbase opportunities, and adjacent Rebel services that may help an artist grow)

Background & Skills
Must-Haves
• Deep understanding of digital artist marketing
• Comfortable running campaigns end-to-end
• Strong with analytics and trend-spotting (you can be taught specifics, but you must like data)
• Strong written communication: you can write clear weekly updates, timelines, and next steps that artists + managers actually follow
• Organized enough to run multiple campaigns at once without losing details (assets, deadlines, approvals, handoffs)

Strong signals (if you have these, you’ll stand out)
• Experience at a label (especially indie labels that do real work in the trenches)
• Experience at a distributor with high-touch campaign responsibility
• Familiar with distro ops / ingestion workflows (nice to have)
• YouTube Analytics or YouTube CMS experience

What we’ll teach
• Rebel’s internal distribution + release workflow and how we collaborate with the YouTube team
• Our standards for artist communication, updates, and escalation
• How we like to package DSP pitches so they’re repeatable and easy to maintain

Who You Are (Humble, Hungry, Smart)
• You’re hungry to go from strategy to execution fast: take a messy campaign and turn it into a clear plan people follow
• You run tight feedback loops: watch performance, learn quickly, and adjust the plan without drama
• You can prioritize across multiple releases and keep momentum moving week to week

Work Environment
Fully remote. High autonomy, collaborative culture. Overlap with US timezones important.
We're here to protect artists from industry fuckery and get them their money.
