ABOUT THE ROLE:
Fast Friends is looking for an experienced Day-to-Day Manager to serve as the operational backbone for our artist roster. This is a pivotal hire for us — we need a seasoned, trusted professional who can run the day-to-day with precision and care, ensuring every detail across our clients’ businesses is handled flawlessly. You’ll be the connective tissue between our artists, the leadership team, and the outside world — a reliable, calm, and organized force who keeps everything moving smoothly behind the scenes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-Day Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and all related third parties, triaging communications and taking appropriate action with professionalism and urgency
• Represent Fast Friends with professionalism in all interactions with our partners
• Manage and maintain complex calendars, schedules, logistics, and deadlines across multiple time zones
• Constantly look ahead to stay on top of all upcoming activities for clients — touring, recording, press runs, merchandise campaigns, social media campaigns, and all marketing activations — ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
• Create and manage timelines, budgets, checklists, and deliverables across all areas of client and company operations
• Translate creative ideas into executable strategies and operational plans
• Coordinate and advance shows and tours, build detailed travel itineraries, liaise with booking agents, promoters, tour managers, travel agents, and business management
• Assist with the development and execution of marketing plans, release schedules, social media, content plans and press opportunities
• Oversee artist’s D2C merchandise business and manage the relationship with third party merchandise partners
• Maintain up-to-date bios, one sheets, and key internal/external documents for the client roster
• Manage client to-do lists with clear prioritization, ensuring deadlines are met and nothing slips
• Assist with tour marketing execution including email/CRM campaigns, social media strategy, and paid media coordination
• Accompany clients to in-person meetings, press and media opportunities, and shows as needed
• Identify and develop brand partnership opportunities for clients, including sponsorships, product placements, event integrations, and marketing activations
• Support the creation of partnership proposals, pitch decks, and briefs tailored to prospective partners
• Handle basic bookkeeping tasks and ensure comms with clients’ business management teams are fluid
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Required
• 3+ years of experience in artist management with an established artist(s) where you were a key part of the team handling the day-to-day for headline tours, merchandise and releases
• Clear understanding of global touring operations, campaign rollouts, and the modern music business landscape
• Proven track record of managing multiple complex, concurrent projects with meticulous attention to detail and excellent follow-through
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong numeracy skills and confidence working with spreadsheets, budgets, and financial reporting
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with high emotional intelligence and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise
• Keen eye for aesthetics, branding, and creative alignment
• Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Notion, Dropbox, Canva, Claude (AI), all major social media platforms
• Must be based in or within a commutable distance of Los Angeles, Nashville or London with a valid driver’s license and access to a car
Desired
• Experience or strong interest in brand partnerships, sponsorships, or music-related commercial partnerships
• Image and video editing skills
