About the Role
Helix Records/Payday Publishing is looking for a creative, organized, & proactive Creative Senior Manager to oversee visual creative across our artist roster. This role sits at the intersection of creative direction, content production, and project management, working closely with artists, management, marketing, and external creatives to bring campaigns to life from concept through delivery.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing creative concepts, designing assets, producing content & managing timelines.
Responsibilities

  • Creative Direction across releases, digital campaigns, streaming platforms, advertising, and social media.
  • Develop creative concepts and visual identities for artist campaigns.
  • Commission & manage external creatives including designers, illustrators, photographers, animators, & videographers.
  • Design one sheets, pitch decks, & promotional materials.
  • Create & commission animated artwork and visualizers.
  • Edit short-form video content for social media platforms.
  • Manage creative timelines and asset delivery schedules across releases between artists, management, marketing teams, DSPs, and distributors.
  • Ensure all creative assets are delivered accurately & on deadline.
  • Manage creative budgets and contracting, track invoices and handle freelancer onboarding.
    Artist & Team Communication
  • Serve as the primary creative point of contact between artist teams, internal departments, and external freelancers.
  • Maintain clear communication across multiple stakeholders throughout each campaign.
  • Manage creative feedback rounds and approvals.

  • Creative direction
  • Graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Video, motion graphics and animation
  • Project management
  • Experience working within music industry
  • Strong communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
    Bonus Skills
  • Experience producing content shoots
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and digital marketing
  • Familiarity with music distribution and release workflows
  • Experience commissioning and managing freelance creative
