A little bit about our team:
Warner Records Nashville’s Publicity team is responsible for artist music news, TV/Broadcast appearances, print/online articles, Podcast appearances, and additional editorial and performance based media for the label artist roster. As well as working alongside music and entertainment trade publications for label press coverage. The WRN Publicity team creates the strategy for a unified publicity plan and presence in the marketplace for each artist. Overseas corporate communication for all Warner Records Nashville business news, charitable partnerships, staff updates, etc.
Your role:
The Publicity Coordinator is responsible for providing departmental support and assistance. In this role, you will maintain administrative support for the department; coordinating the distribution of press materials to staff, artist managers and media, and assisting with maintenance of the department database and artist materials.
Here you’ll get to:
• Maintain organization of artist files
• Maintain additions and adjustments to contact database / media lists
• Assist with the creation, upkeep and distribution of press materials
• Be responsible for the collection of press clips on company and full roster of artists
• Process department invoices, PO requests and general billing
• Compile, submit and maintain departmental budgets
• Coordinate press-related artist travel when applicable
• Accompany Publicity department team members, and artists, to press events that may include, but are not limited to, TV tapings, interviews, industry trade visits and award shows
• Compile pre-event, during-event and post-event coverage
• Research trends in the mainstream media
• Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information
• Build and maintain positive and engaging relationships with media
• Some travel may be required
About you:
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Strong organization skills and high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excels in a fast-paced environment with the ability to complete tasks and balance multiple, diverse assignments
• Adaptable teammate who maintains a positive approach and works effectively with colleagues to reach collective goals.
• Identify departmental needs and build streamlined workflows to improve operational efficiency
• Motivated problem-solver who operates with a high degree of ownership, consistently taking initiative to drive tasks from inception to successful completion.
We’d love it if you also had:
• Strong presentation and phone skills
• Ability to develop and sustain industry relationships
• 2 years of experience in publicity/media preferred; music entertainment experience a plus

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
