Role Description: We are seeking a full-time Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join the team of a major recording artist. Based in Los Angeles with travel, this role will travel with the talent and be responsible for developing, capturing, editing, and publishing compelling content across every aspect of their career, including live performances, press appearances, interviews, brand partnerships, travel, BTS moments, and personal lifestyle content.
The ideal candidate has a strong creative eye, understands how to tell a talent’s story across social platforms, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround expectations. This person will create engaging short-form video, photography, and social content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms while managing the talent’s social media presence, content calendar, and overall digital strategy.
This role requires someone who can identify emerging trends, develop creative concepts, and deliver content that authentically reflects the talent’s brand while driving audience growth and engagement. The Content Creator & Social Media Manager will work closely with the talent, management, agents, labels, publicists, photographers, videographers, and creative partners to support campaigns, launches, announcements, and day-to-day storytelling. Responsibilities also include monitoring content performance, leveraging audience insights to optimize strategy, and maintaining a consistent and engaging online presence.
Qualifications:
• 2–3+ years of full time experience creating content for a recording artist, talent, or entertainment brand, including tour coverage, BTS storytelling, social media management, and digital content strategy.
• Experience collaborating with artist managers, label teams, creative directors, photographers, videographers, publicists, agents, and brand partners is highly preferred.
• Strong photography, videography, and editing skills, with demonstrated experience creating engaging social content through visual storytelling, short-form video production, and copywriting.
• Strong understanding of major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Facebook, along with platform best practices, audience growth strategies, and analytics.
• Ability to develop and manage content calendars, coordinate multiple projects, and deliver high-quality content with quick turnaround times in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools, as well as familiarity with photo and video editing software.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities while maintaining strong creative output.
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work effectively with talent and creative partners.
• Prior experience in entertainment, talent management, influencer marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
