Los Angeles (Hybrid – Atwater Village, 3 days/week)
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented operator to join our team in an Assets & Communications role.
This person will be the frontline for fast-moving, time-sensitive requests across both our licensing and artist relationships. A big part of the role is making sure the right people get the right materials, fast.
This is a critical role at the intersection of music, operations, and client service — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and likes being the person who keeps things moving behind the scenes.
This is a full-time, entry-level role with clear room for growth. Start date: late May, 2026

Core Responsibilities
Asset Management & Client Response (Top Priority)
• Act as first responder for incoming asset requests (stems, lyrics, splits, etc.)
• Confirm receipt of new music and materials same day (or next day latest)
• Coordinate with artists, producers, and labels to fulfill requests quickly and accurately
• Maintain clean, consistent metadata (master ownership, writer/publishing splits)
• Upload, organize, and maintain catalog in Disco
• Track upcoming releases and maintain release calendar
Marketing & Outbound Communications
• Plan and execute 1–2 weekly mailers (typically Wednesdays)
• Build mailers using MailerLite, Figma, and Canva
• Maintain a monthly campaign calendar (releases, playlists, Ad Jams, etc.)
• Track performance and share key takeaways
• Maintain and grow contact database (MailerLite + Disco)
Systems & Organization
• Keep contact databases accurate and up to date
• Manage ongoing Disco cleanup and catalog organization
• Ensure consistency across Disco, website, and outbound communications
Artist & Content Support
• Monitor artist and label activity (releases, socials, announcements)
• Support social content (stories, placements, playlists)
• Track placement air dates and notable wins
• Maintain RSVP and live event tracking via Airtable
Website & Research
• Update website (roster, placements, news)
• Ensure alignment between catalog and website presence
• Research upcoming projects (film, TV, advertising)
• Track music supervisors and seasonal opportunities
• Support light A&R research (emerging sounds, trends)
Ideal Candidate
You are:
• Based in Los Angeles
• Extremely organized and responsive (you don’t let things sit)
• Comfortable juggling multiple time-sensitive requests
• Detail-oriented, especially with files, metadata, and accuracy
• A clear communicator with artists, managers, and clients
• Curious about music, culture, and the sync ecosystem
• Familiar (or eager to learn) music copyright basics, including writer/publishing splits
