**Job Title: **Artist Management Intern (Fall 2026)
Location: Remote (Within California) with required, occasional in-person attendance in Los Angeles, CA
Duration: September 2026 – December 2026
Hours: 12 to 15 hours per week (Flexible around class schedules)
Compensation: Unpaid. Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university program and eligible to receive institutional academic credit.
Internship Overview & Learning Objectives
Our company offers an educational, hands-on opportunity designed for students looking to understand the mechanics of the music and entertainment industries. This program focuses entirely on vocational training and mentorship within the alternative, pop, and indie rock music spaces. You will shadow industry veterans and learn the foundations of day-to-day talent representation, growth strategies, branding, music business operations, campaign tracking, and live event operations.
This role operates strictly under the U.S. Department of Labor and California Department of Industrial Relations’ Primary Beneficiary Test. It is structured to complement, rather than replace, the work of regular paid staff.
What You Will Learn + Educational Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision and guidance of management, you will learn and assist with the following industry operations:
A&R: Develop knowledge and skills for discovering and developing talent, as well as relationship building with music industry professionals
Marketing & Fan Engagement: Observe and participate in artist marketing campaigns, managing artist newsletters, Discord, and HQ channels; learn how to recruit and engage fans; and assist in drafting promotional eblasts, newsletters, and Tour Box/Bands in Town.
Social Media & Digital Asset Management: Learn how to create and organize digital content folders; practice cutting and editing clips from approved assets; shadow staff at content shoots; and help maintain/update social media and DSP assets.
Data Analytics & Research: Gain hands-on experience pulling data reports and analyzing social media and DSP metrics.
Live Event & Tour Operations: Develop hands on-experience for touring and production. Shadow management at local Los Angeles live shows to learn about venue coordination. Practice capturing live performance and behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage.
Music Business Administration and Operations: Learn the backend of music publishing by assisting with catalog organization (deal memos, contracts, master/publishing splits, credits, and fees); help register live performances in artist PROs; learn how release schedules are created and tracked.
General Management Support: Sit in on select management meetings to practice note-taking; observe the logistics of booking travel arrangements and managing complex calendars; and learn how expense receipts are compiled and categorized.
Qualifications
We are looking for students who are eager to learn and possess the following foundational traits:
Industry Passion: Deeply excited about our specific artists’ music, brands, and working within the alt/pop/indie rock genres.
Core Strengths: Extremely organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and available for scheduled learning blocks.
Problem Solving & Communication: A quick thinker, proactive problem solver, and an extremely communicative team player.
Tech Savvy: Knowledgeable about social media platforms, DSPs, basic spreadsheets, data pulling, and possesses basic design skills.
Professionalism: A trustworthy individual who understands how to handle confidential client information. A respectful, honest, and professional "people person."
Dual Mindset: An applicant who is both highly analytical and highly creative is a huge plus.
Schedule & Location Logistics
Remote Flexibility: Weekly training modules and project tracking can be completed remotely from anywhere within the state of California.
Los Angeles Availability: You must have the ability to attend occasional, pre-scheduled live training days, industry events, or strategy sessions in Los Angeles, California.
Academic Alignment: Your weekly schedule will be customized around your specific university class calendar and exam periods to ensure your education remains the primary focus.
Requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
Mandatory Academic Credit: You must provide official documentation from your institution verifying that you will receive academic credit for this internship prior to your start date.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a computer for remote tasks.

We had multiple sync placements throughout 2025 with Apple TV’s The Buccaneers, Netflix’s Never Have I Ever and Forever, and PlayStation’s Dispatch (1 million copies sold within the 1st week). Our artists have been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, EARMILK, Fader, Spin, PAPER, LADYGUNN, and more.
