About the Role
A fast-rising EDM and house music artist based in New York is looking for a dedicated freelancer to fully manage her Instagram DMs. She has a loyal and quickly growing fan base (currently at 26K on Instagram). She personally values replying to every message, and this role makes sure no one slips through the cracks.
Responsibilities
• Go through all of the artist's Instagram inboxes daily, seven days a week, including primary, general and message requests.
• Find and flag high-priority messages, such as collaboration requests from established artists, bookers, venues, promoters and other industry contacts.
• Send the management team a short report every one or two days covering flagged messages and anything else the team should know about.
• Reply to fan messages in the artist's voice. Keep responses warm and personal so the community keeps growing.
• Make sure every DM gets handled or answered.
Requirements
• Available every day, with a consistent daily time commitment.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and fan engagement. Familiarity with the dance music scene is a plus.
• Able to quickly learn and match the artist's tone and personality.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable.
• Discreet and comfortable handling private communications.
