The Role: Marketing Assistant
You will report into the marketing managers, assisting them in their day to day duties promoting club and festival events.
As the company continues to grow its programme of club and live shows, it is looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day management of individual event campaigns. The role will involve agreeing marketing timelines with artists and agents, setting up and managing paid social campaigns, coordinating assets and announcements, and overseeing each campaign from launch through to show day. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is highly organised, comfortable managing multiple shows at once and keen to build their experience within the live music industry.
There will be a heavy focus on digital marketing with this role, with a focus on campaigns across platforms such as meta.
Responsibilities
Ads
Plan and manage paid social campaigns across Meta for club nights and events.
Build campaigns across awareness, ticket sales, retargeting and final ticket pushes.
Create and test different audiences, creative formats, messaging and campaign objectives.
Manage event-by-event budgets, shifting spend towards the best-performing campaigns.
Monitor performance and optimise campaigns regularly against ticket sales, CPA, ROAS and conversion rates.
Build and maintain retargeting and lookalike audiences using website, ticketing and social data.
Work with the creative team to identify and brief high-performing ad assets.
Produce simple reporting on performance, learnings and recommendations for future events.
Stay on top of Meta advertising best practice and new formats, particularly within music, nightlife and live events.
Administrative
Taking charge of on sale processes, including coordinating with partners on assets and schedules
Database management including writing, designing and sending mailers, as well as managing the filing of company databases
Managing inboxes across socials, and email for multiple brands
Ticketing
Developing an excellent understanding of ticketing platforms (Resident Advisor, Dice, Skiddle)
Setting up and managing event pages and tickets
Maximising ticket sales and revenue through proactive management of ticketing
Updating and reporting on ticket sales internally and externally
Excellent understanding of forecasting ticket sales for club and live shows
**Social Media **
Supporting organic and paid socials to drive customer awareness, engagement, and acquisition
Collate content for social media channels across various brands
Collaborate with our designer to produce engaging and visually appealing marketing materials, including graphics, videos, photos
Coordinate with artists/partners on scheduling posts
About You
Experience setting up and managing advertising campaigns on meta
Fundamental understanding of how club nights operate
Demonstrated proficiency of budgeting and budget management
You have experience with marketing and ticketing
You are deeply passionate about, and engaged with electronic music culture
You possess excellent communication and collaboration skills and are able to work across teams
You have excellent computer literacy, including a command of Excel
You have a can do attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow your experience within the dance music industry
