The Role
As an AI & Automation Analyst, you will play a key role in driving innovation across Operations at Kobalt. You’ll support the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions, helping to improve workflows, reduce manual processes, and enhance efficiency at scale.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career with a strong curiosity for AI and automation. You’ll act as a bridge between emerging technologies and day-to-day operations, using your technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset to build intelligent workflows and support operational transformation.
What You’ll Do
• You explore and test AI tools, platforms, and models, piloting solutions against real-world operational challenges
• You support the design and development of automated workflows to streamline manual and data-intensive processes
• You assist in building integrations between internal and external systems using automation tools and AI-driven solutions
• You contribute to rapid prototyping of business solutions using AI-assisted technologies
• You document workflows and automations clearly, ensuring reliability and scalability across teams
• You collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
• You support the wider operations innovation strategy by identifying bottlenecks and proposing practical solutions
• You actively engage in learning and development to stay up to date with AI trends and best practices
What You’ll Bring
Preferred:
• A strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down complex workflows into logical steps
• Technical aptitude with experience or exposure to tools such as SQL, Python, or similar
• Curiosity and hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools, platforms, or large language models
• Strong data literacy and ability to organise and present information clearly
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with data and testing workflows
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams

• Experience with automation or integration platforms
• Exposure to workflow mapping or process optimisation
• Interest in music, technology, or creative industries
• A passion for experimenting with new tools and building efficiency-driven solutions
What Success Looks Like
By Month 3: You’ll understand key operational workflows and begin supporting small-scale automation initiatives
By Month 6: You’ll independently contribute to building and testing workflows, delivering measurable efficiency improvements
By Year 1: You’ll play an active role in scaling AI-driven solutions across operations, identifying new opportunities for innovation

Interview Process
