Position Overview:

The Royalty Analyst, Inbound supports the Royalties team in ensuring timely and accurate

reporting of mechanical and artist royalties. This position offers opportunities for professional

development, skill expansion, and career growth within the entertainment industry.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Nashville, TN office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and analyze royalty income to ensure complete and accurate reporting.
• Ingest, reconcile, and validate sales files within the Curve royalty system.
• Investigate and resolve data or sales discrepancies in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
• Communicate with third parties regarding statement and payment issues.
• Maintain and update sales templates and mapping tables to support consistent processing.
• Process and verify net profit and distribution expenses and billbacks within Curve.
• Upload and reconcile recoupable costs within Curve.
• Review outgoing royalty costs for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to royaltor and internal team inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the Business Affairs and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of recoupable cost data.
• Identify and recommend process or system improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience, preferably in the entertainment industry.
• Prior experience in music royalty accounting strongly preferred.
• Experience with Curve royalty software is a plus.
• Experience with Airtable, Tableau, and other database/reporting systems preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
• Strong computer skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis).
• Ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
