**About Dialled In **

Dialled In celebrates the depth and diversity of alternative South Asian music and culture. With experiences as our vehicle, we create spaces where imagination thrives, communities connect and new ideas take root globally. What began as an annual festival has grown into an ecosystem — a record label and a not-for-profit — built to shift power within the creative industries and reframe what contemporary culture looks and sounds like.

We are an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, working across live events, festival programming, artist development, brand partnerships and major co-commissions.

Job Overview

We’re looking for a culturally embedded digital marketing lead to work with us. This goes beyond content calendar scheduling; this role is for someone who can take initiative to tell a compelling story through short-form video, design and editing and support our marketing output for both Dialled In and our label Dialled In Records.

You’ll grow Dialled In and Dialled In Record’s social presence and community, in both numbers and engagement, create and produce content that reflects our world, and support across all our marketing channels (predominantly Instagram, Tik Tok, Youtube, Email). This is a hands-on, creative role for someone curious, proactive and comfortable behind a camera, who is also confident with voiceover work, if needed. It’s a part-time role (3–4 days a week) reporting to the Head of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Coordination

Write clear, engaging copy for social posts and captions that win attention.

Understanding that the Dialled In TOV sits differently to usual marketing speak

Edit lo-fi assets where appropriate for specific campaigns

Curate photo galleries and source content from internal drives

Produce graphic assets using supplied brand templates

Use in-platform features (polls, questions, stickers, etc.) to build and engage community

Manage comments and support community moderation

Track, credit and repost user-generated content

Liaise with artists and partners to request assets and coordinate collaborative posts

Work closely with internal teams and managers to anticipate moments and prepare assets in advance

Translate social content into email marketing via Flodesk

Support content capture at key events where required

Manage mailing list and mailing send outs

Social & Community Growth

Grow Dialled In and Dialled In Record’s social presence, driving measurable growth in both audience numbers and engagement.

Understand how to engage and mobilise our community, deepening the relationship between Dialled In and its global audience.

Take a social-first, culture-first approach — creating content that feels native to each platform and true to Dialled In.

Understanding of search and discoverability on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, to better connect with audiences and share our events with audiences who may be looking for them.

Content Creation

Produce short-form video content and reels, editing in CapCut or Premier, from concept through to final cut.

Appear on camera where needed and help others feel comfortable doing the same.

Write sharp, on-brand copy for social, mailers and campaigns.

React quickly to trends, cultural moments and opportunities as they emerge.

Coordinate with aligned Creators to create compelling online moments building brand awareness and audience growth.

Channels & Planning

Support across all marketing channels, including email/mailers and campaign support for Dialled In, Dialled In Records and Dialled InDustry.

Own content planning and the content calendar, keeping output consistent and well-paced.

Write clear briefs for collaborators, freelancers and the wider team and support in feedback process ensuring brand guidelines are met.

Review campaign and social performance data to ensure digital strategies adapt in real time to platform and audience behaviour

Who you are

Online, with a real feel for internet culture and interests beyond Dialled In.

A sharp editorial instinct and the ability to direct teams on content, creative and optimisation decisions

You have an ear to the ground. You’re aware of the shifting trends in the media industry, and have an appetite to meet those changes with new ideas and ways of telling stories.

Prior experience or demonstrable knowledge of growing social channels and producing content of similar nature — numbers and engagement. This isn't an entry-level role - you will be asked to share specific examples of accounts you have run, and content you have created.

Run a social strategy end to end and develop around our content pillars. Planning, scheduling, posting, community management. You come up with ideas and think three steps ahead.

A natural creative with curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

Organised and systems-minded, with an eye for workflow and process.

Understanding of nuances in global audiences: You understand what works well in London vs in Karachi or in New York.

Proactive and collaborative, comfortable working at pace and under pressure.

**Equity, Diversity and Inclusion **

Dialled In exists to make space for South Asian artistry, and we hold ourselves to the same standard internally. We want a team that reflects the breadth of the communities we work with — across race, ethnicity, faith, class, caste, disability, neurodivergence, gender identity, sexual orientation and age — and we know the culture sector has not historically made that easy.

We particularly welcome applications from people who are underrepresented in music and the arts, and from people whose route into this work hasn't been the conventional one. Formal qualifications are not a requirement for this role.

If you meet most of what we've described but not all of it, apply anyway. We would rather hear from you and have the conversation.

Access and Adjustments

We want the application process to work for you. If you need this pack in another format — large print, plain text, audio — or if you'd prefer to apply by video or voice note rather than in writing, let us know and we'll arrange it.

If you need adjustments at any stage, including the interview, contact us at info@dialled-in.com and we'll make them. You don't need to explain why, and telling us will have no bearing on your application.

Interview Dates:

First round interviews: Week commencing October 5th
Second Round interviews: Week commencing October 12th
