Curate It Travel and Rise Festival are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead the full commercial marketing function across our portfolio of events and travel experiences.
This is a senior, revenue-driving role, acting as the internal promoter — fully accountable for ticket sales, campaign performance, and marketing profitability.
You will own the complete marketing lifecycle, from strategy through to sell-out, working closely with Directors and cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns and commercial results.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
• Driving ticket revenue across all projects
• Owning paid media performance (Meta, Google, TikTok)
• Leading CRM, lifecycle marketing, and database growth
• Defining brand positioning and campaign strategy
• Managing partnerships, affiliates, and ambassadors
• Overseeing PR, media, and influencer strategy
• Building and leading a high-performance marketing team
• Managing agencies, suppliers, and budgets
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Campaign Ownership
• Own revenue targets across all events
• Forecast weekly and monthly ticket sales
• Build and execute full-funnel acquisition strategy
• Lead pricing, tiering, and urgency mechanics
• Report weekly performance to Directors
Full Campaign Lifecycle
• Lead campaigns from pre-launch → on sale → optimisation → sell-out → post-event analysis
• Continuously optimise creative, targeting, and conversion performance
• Drive urgency and sell-out strategies
Paid Media & Performance
• Own acquisition strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok
• Set and manage ROAS / CPA targets
• Oversee tracking, attribution, and performance reporting
• Optimise spend allocation in real time
CRM & Customer Lifecycle
• Own database growth and segmentation strategy
• Improve deposit-to-full payment conversion
• Drive repeat bookings and customer retention
• Build referral and loyalty initiatives
Partnerships & External Management
• Manage brand partners, co-promoters, and artist teams in relation to marketing and event delivery
• Build and oversee affiliate and ambassador programmes
• Identify commercial partnerships to reduce acquisition costs
Brand, Creative & Content
• Own brand positioning across all projects
• Approve all campaign creative and messaging
• Oversee designers, videographers, photographers, and content teams
• Lead website UX and conversion improvements
Supplier & Network Management
• Procure and manage external suppliers
• Maintain a strong network of freelancers (design, video, content, media)
• Ensure all suppliers deliver against agreed KPIs and timelines
On-Site Delivery
• Lead on-site marketing and media teams during live events
• Oversee content capture, social output, and real-time campaign execution
• Ensure marketing delivery aligns with event operations and brand standards
Team Leadership
• Build and manage the marketing department
• Set clear KPIs and accountability structures
• Recruit, onboard, and develop team members
• Create a high-performance, results-driven culture
Remuneration
Base Salary
• £60,000 per annum
• Expected OTE: £100,000+
Bonus
• Performance-based bonus linked to revenue delivery, campaign performance, and overall profitability
• Structure and targets agreed per campaign / project

• Proven experience in event / festival / ticketed marketing
• Strong commercial mindset — understands revenue, not just reach
• Experience managing paid media at scale
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Experience working across fast-paced event cycles and high-pressure environments
• Strong network of freelancers, agencies, and creative suppliers
• Highly organised, accountable, and results-driven
Additional Requirements
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Approx. 50 days per year on-site for events, campaigns, and content capture
Summary
This is a commercial leadership role with full ownership of marketing performance and revenue delivery.
You will be responsible for driving consistent sell-outs, leading a high-performing team, and delivering best-in-class campaigns across a global event portfolio.
