Marketing Manager

**Position Overview: **Reporting to the Associate Director of Revenue Marketing, the Marketing Manager will play an integral role in supporting and promoting the Museum’s various revenue channels, including admission, retail, events, dining, publicly-tickets concerts, and membership. This position will focus on the marketing, media buying, financial, and promotional needs of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and its affiliated brands, such as CMA Theater, Hatch Show Print, Haley Gallery, and Historic RCA Studio B. Working with internal departments, the Marketing Manager will ensure that best-of-class marketing practices are applied and institutional branding standards are met across paid and owned media. This position provides a tremendous opportunity to experience all levels of marketing; organic and paid media, digital and print placements, creative strategy, and budget management.
Specific Job Duties Include:
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for campaigns across Museum divisions that drive earned revenue and membership.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally and with external agencies to launch media buys and fulfill advertising secured including digital/social, print, radio, streaming, TV, outdoor, and other media.
• Conduct market research and analyze performance metrics to optimize ongoing campaigns and inform future campaigns.
• Manage marketing budgets for various Museum lines of business, ensuring effective allocation of resources, responsible expense management, and execution of plans that drive measurable results and positive return on investment.
• Assist in the development and execution of digital, email, on-property, and paid social marketing strategies, as well as partnership promotions.
• Help grow the Museum’s organic presence in both traditional search engines and AI-powered search results through SEO and GEO implementation.
• Support eCommerce initiatives across store websites, emails, and social media.
• Identify and pilot new marketing tactics to broaden the Museum’s reach, increase ticket and membership revenue, and promote ancillary revenue streams (retail, food and beverage, venue rentals, etc.).
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Digital, Communication or related field
• Minimum of 3 years marketing experience; 1-2 years in revenue or performance marketing preferred
• Proficiency in analyzing and reporting on campaigns (digital, paid, and otherwise)
• Experience with MS Office, Google Analytics, CMS (WordPress, Shopify)
• Knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, and social media
• Exceptional project management, attention to detail, and communication skills to balance the varied goals and objectives of each project or campaign
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including email communication and group presentations
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior museum, hospitality, tourism, not for profit, ticketing, publishing, digital content, agency or related experience preferred
• Basecamp, BrightEdge, CMS (WordPress, Shopify), CRM (Tessitura) experience preferred
